Mara sat on a gravestone, looking at the sky. The moon glistened and she sighed deeply. "I hate some of the petty humans. Worthless..." memories of her life were clouded, so she tended to think of herself as worthless. Mara started to hum, gently.

Akira walked in the graveyard as he saw the girl. He walked up to her and heard what she said. He couldnt disagree with her and scatched his head. "Hey. How are you. I heard you are new to our school. Im Akira." he smiled since he received a file from the army. Her file was one of them. It was something about that she was also spotted in both the world wars as the file said that he should turn her in as soon as he saw her.

Mara looked at him and sighed. "I'm aright. Names Mara...Valentine." She looked up to the sky agian. She somewhat hoped he would leave, but at the same time didnt have any friends. She looked back at him. "So...what are you doing here?" Mara stared at his eyes and faked a small smile.

Akira smiled. "Im here to pay my adoption father a visit." He smiled and pointed at the gravestone she was sitting on. "That his grave stone." He said as he sat down on the gravestone next to his dads, the one she was sitting on. "I have a question. Do you have trouble with the military?" He said as he brought back the entire file in his head.

Mara slid off "Sorry...my mistake." she walked a little and slid down a gravestone and sat there. "Well...they dont exactly like me. Why do you ask?" Her eyes got brighter, and she stared at him carefully studing him. Mara put some hair behind her ear and cracked her neck then fingers. Something in the back of her head was nagging to get out of there, knowing that he knew something about her.

"Its ok, he has a bit of company then." He smiled softly and then sighed. "I aint going to lie about it. The army send me a file about you, to hand you over directly to them if you joined the school, because you a so called danger to the world, bla bla bla." He jumped of the gravestone and walked infront of her, his hands behind his back. "Are you?" He grinned.

Standing up fast, she whispered into his ear. "Depends on what mood I'm in" she laughed and flipped back. She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms across her chest. "Whatcha gunna do about it?" she tilted her head, staring at him. Her eyes went blue, as she stared him straight in the eyes.

An evil grin appeared on his face. "Wouldnt you like to know that." He said and then whispered in her ear. "Maybe I am holding a gun with UV bullets behind my back to shoot you any second now and turn you in, so the army can do his experiments on you, Ifrit."

Mara's eyes went wide, with a danger filled awe. "You..you know what I am." She started to feel weak and glanced at him. She tryed to step back but ran into a gravestone and fell back. She muttered a shit and stumbled to her feet.

Akira laughed. "Yes, yes. The fact that your an Ifrit isn't really a secret to me. I read it in the file but I tought it wasn't true. Untill I saw the fire in your eyes. You see, you are me aren't very diffrent." He grinned as he had the gun in his left hand and created fire in his right hand.

Mara's eyes went dimmer and she calmed herself. "You arent going to use that gun on me are you?I would rather know." she stated and wiped dirt off herself after making a clutz out of herself. She sighed deeply and refused to look at him any longer. She turned and was about to start to walk away. "gets better and better..."

He smiled. "The gun was normally for you, yes. If you would have made a wrong move, I would have pulled the trigger." He said as he slowly walked next to her. "But I think I can trust you more then the army." He smiled as he put the gun in a holster. He put out the fire in his hand and looked at her. "I have heard of other Ifrit, but didn't think I would meet one."

Mara kept her gaze on the ground. "Well then this must be your lucky day" she rolled her eyes, which were bright agian. "If I might ask, why are you walking with me?" she grumbled and took out a throwing needle and started to play with it.

Akira sighed. "Are you beeing hostile? Or is this just you?" He said as he looked at the throwing needle. He sighed. "I guess beeing friends isnt you idea then." He stopped and turned the other way, going out of the graveyard by jumping over a small wall.

Mara stopped. "Well I just blew that one...I cant take people with me.I want friends but I dont think that was how to get them." She cracked her neck and went and jumped over the other wall and went to sit ontop the cloaktower near the graveyard.
